Forty thousand dinars,
and no second attempt

A wedding DJ is the most expensive service on this entire site. It is booked a year ahead, paid on the day, and if someone cancels a week before, that Saturday slot never sells again. Here a no-show is not an empty hour but an empty month.

A deposit is not distrust but arithmetic

For an 800 dinar haircut, mandatory payment drives clients away. At 40,000 it is the only thing separating a job from a hope.

Wedding DJ · Saturday, June 20 40.000
Without a deposit
Canceled a week before. Saturday empty, 40,000 gone.
With a deposit
12,000 now
28,000 on the day
Payment runs in installments, and it shows on the slot. Paid 12,000, remaining 28,000, status partly paid. When the couple cancels, the deposit stays with you, and that is the difference between a lost Saturday and paid preparation. It is all entered by hand, according to the actual agreement, because jobs like this are negotiated rather than bought like a haircut.

Same room, same hour, three prices

The escape room is the only industry where the price depends purely on how many people walk in.

Room, 2 to 3 people
4.000
60 minutes
Room, 4 to 5 people
6.000
60 minutes
Room, 6 and more
8.000
60 minutes

Those are three services, not one with a field for the number of people. The room is a workplace, so when one is taken, all three disappear from that slot, whichever the group picked. Same approach as the court with floodlights and the double driving lesson: a price difference is handled by a second service, because the plugin has no per-person pricing rules.

A wedding is booked a year in advance

Nowhere else on the site is the gap between booking and the slot this large. At a hairdresser it is three days.

What that means for the settings

  • How far ahead booking is allowed is a setting. By default there is no limit, and a hairdresser sets it to 60 days. You leave it empty or set 400.
  • A reminder a year later is not a problem. It is sent 24 hours before the slot, regardless of when it was booked.
  • The record remembers the whole path: introductory meeting, deposit, balance. When the couple calls in March, you see what was agreed last June.
  • The working day is Saturday. Hours are set per day and per staff member, so a DJ who only works weekends never gets a Tuesday slot.
This is the only industry where it is normal for a slot to sit further into the future than your entire business plan reaches.

Two things the rest of the group needs

A birthday party runs two hours, but the room five

A play center with one room cannot run two parties at once, and cannot run one straight after another with no gap.

  • The room is a workplace. Two rooms mean two parties at the same time, one means one, and the system works that out itself.
  • Buffer time handles the clean-up. Cake, decorations, tidying afterwards. Add 45 minutes after a party and the next slot is not offered too early.
  • A 2h and a 3h party are two services, 15,000 and 20,000, exactly as the preset has it. The parent chooses, and you know how long the room is taken.
  • An 800 dinar visit to the play center goes into the same calendar, but without the room, because that is an ordinary visit, not a hire.

Tattoos: the consultation is free, the session four hours

The tattoo studio ranges from 30 minutes and 2,500 dinars to four hours and 15,000, all in the same day.

  • The consultation is free and that is deliberate. The design is agreed in person, and only then do you know how many sessions are needed.
  • Small, medium and large are three services, running one, two and four hours. The client does not pick at random but after the consultation.
  • A large tattoo runs in sessions, so a series of slots handles the rest: four sessions, every second week, one booking.
  • A deposit for a large tattoo makes sense, for the same reason as with the DJ: four hours nobody else can take.

Questions from this business

Through a PayPal account you can. There is no direct card payment on the site, and we have written that everywhere. In practice jobs like this are negotiated anyway: introductory meeting, then agreement, then a bank transfer. The deposit is recorded as an installment, and the balance stays outstanding until the day of the event.

Set a starting price and write in the description that the final one is by agreement. For a wedding DJ, 40,000 is a starting point, and the real amount is entered when charging. This is the same as at a repair shop: the price in the system is an estimate, not a promise. A client who sees the order of magnitude knows whether to call you at all.

No. Capacity stays at one, because it is one booking of the room. The number of people is in the service name and affects only the price. Capacity above one is used when several people book the same slot independently, as in a group yoga class.

You enter the rooms as workplaces, and each theme as a service tied to its room. Then a slot for one room disappears while it is taken, and the other two keep running. If all three rooms have the same three price variants, that is nine services, and it is fifteen minutes of work done once.

No, if you set the hours. They are set per day and per staff member, so if you work Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the other days do not exist in the form. Without that, someone would book you a gig for Tuesday at ten in the morning.

What next

A commission on 40,000 would cost more than the license

Platforms that take a percentage per booking would take more on a single wedding than this plugin costs forever. Here the commission is zero, on any amount.
